RED EYE PUFFER
RED EYE PUFFER
Tuesday, March 9, 2010
Also know as Twin Spot Puffers (Tetraodon Leiurus) are usually found in freshwater but some are also found in brackish conditions dependent on the area they are collected. Red Eye Puffers are found in Thailand, Cambodia and some parts of South East Asia. They can reach 5 to 6 inches in length and are a fairly aggressive carnivore. These puffers are one of the few that can be bred in captivity but as the fry grow they should be separated. At the end of the day a super cool puffer that is very hardy!
